Don’t be ripped off!
Make sure gas, electricity and water meters have been read. You don’t want to have to pay for bills that aren’t yours.

Call the Council
Arrange a council pickup for all the things you want to throw away.

Prepare Boxes

Clear Cupboards
Clear out all cupboards and storage spaces and start packing non-essentials before the big day.

Make sure you label the content and destination of the box and tape it up.

Defrost Fridge
Defrost the refrigerator 48 hours before uplift to allow the interior time to dry. Towel dry and wipe the interior with vanilla essence

Utilise Boxes
Pack as much as you can in moving boxes, they are easier and faster to move and they stack perfectly in the truck to save space, and they store well.

List Items
Make sure you have an inventory list for all the furniture and boxes.

Redirect Mail
Contact the Post Office and ask them to redirect your mail.
