1.    Call Balmain removals to book your move
       and have your boxes delivered.

2.    Moving is a great time to throw out, give
       away or sell off unwanted items.

3.    Ring to give a cancellation date for utilities
       like phone, gas and energy.

4.    Make sure all your mail will be redirected to
       your new home/office

5.    Do not leave your packing until the last
       day, start packing at least a week in
       advance to cut down on stress.

6.    Pack your most often used possessions last
       e.g. kitchen items.

7.    Dismantle where practical e.g. bed frames
       but make sure the nuts and bolts are safe.

8.    Don't make boxes too heavy - spread weight throughout boxes.

9.    Have all electrical cords wound up and taped including your VCR, TV, Stereo and kitchen appliances.

10.  Make sure you have marked all your fragile boxes.

11.  Don't be afraid to mix things up e.g. use cushions to act as cushions for fragile items.

12.  Defrost the fridge the night before the move.

13.  Try to reserve a good parking spot for the truck.

 

 

Prices include Utes, Vans, 3 Tonne Pan Techs, 6 Tonne Pan Techs.  Prices are charged base to base (depot) from Balmain no extra charge.

 

 

We offer Transit Insurance

This covers your contents whilst on the truck only.  This is included in the hourly

rate.  We can also supply you with contact details for other companies,

should you require comprehensive insurance.
